Meet Dr. John Lundgren
I enjoy the opportunity that dentistry gives me to serve my community. One of my favorite aspects of the profession is the ability every day to meet new people and strengthen old relationships. My objective is to do everything I can to help patients accomplish their oral health goals with the best possible individualized care.
Education and CE
- Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Engineering, Marquette University 2012
- Doctor of Dental Surgery, Marquette University School of Dentistry 2016
After dental school, I completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. There, I was able to hone the skills I had developed in dental school, as well as expand my knowledge and expertise in all areas of general dentistry.
I have been working in downtown Chicago since 2017, and value and enjoy attending continuing education courses to stay current and continue to develop and improve my skillset.

Outside the Office
I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska, where my parents and younger sister still live. My older brother and fellow Marquette grad lives in Neenah with his family. My wife, Tara (who also went to Marquette), and I have been living in Chicago for six years but are looking forward to our return to Milwaukee.
Outside the office, my wife and I enjoy cooking, baking, trying new restaurants, and visiting our old favorites. I also enjoy both playing and watching sports. I especially like cheering on Marquette and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
